After two years of failed pregnancies and numerous IVF cycles we were desperate. We could see no light at the end of tunnel. Hundreds of failed pregnancy tests and continued heartache, all we prayed for was a beautiful baby to love.

We finally found our doctor who would make all our dreams and more come true. We first met Dr Moses in July 2019, after meeting him for 20 minutes we know he was the doctor for us. He has the most amazing calming manner, putting you at ease and breaking down the winding path of IVF into small, achievable steps. We started our IVF journey with Dr Moses in September 2019. He was there every step of the way, always at the end of the telephone and advising us daily. He kept us reassured and upbeat at all times. After an egg collection and PGT-A on all blastocysts we finished the cycle with 3 frozen blastocysts ready for transfer. After a month of waiting, we were ready for the embryo transfer. Dr Moses checked in on us daily the days leading up and the days after the transfer going above an beyond his duties as our consultant. After 12 days of waiting, we went to the clinic for a pregnancy test. After hundreds of negative tests we were so nervous. Dr Moses called at 3pm, and gave us the most incredible news. We were 5 weeks pregnant!!

4 years later, and all thanks to Dr Moses our family is complete. We have 3 beautiful children and have finished our IVF journey. None of this would have been possible with out the amazing care, attention, professionalism and friendship of a special doctor. Dr Moses has been there every step of the way and we are incredibly privileged to have had Moses as our doctor through the most challenging time of our lives.

Dr Moses left such a mark on us and all our family, our beautiful son is named after him. A truly amazing man and Doctor!

We have Dr Moses to thank for our two beautiful sons and we shall forever be grateful to him. He is a talented doctor and very special soul.

After trying for a baby for 6 years the traditional way, we turned to assisted reproduction. My IVF journey started at age 37 with a disastrous round of IVF in LA (where I live). My fertility challenge was low ovarian reserve/diminished ovarian reserve (DOR).

The doctors in LA were alarmist; I had been suggested all these radical (and very expensive) treatments and offered a ‘kitchen sink’ approach to fertility drugs. My body did not respond at all and ‘round one’ was a failure, retrieving just two eggs, neither mature so there was nothing to fertilize.

In LA, I was told I might go into early menopause within 3 months if I didn’t ‘go again’ with IVF immediately, but I didn’t trust their approach at all. I decided if I was going to pursue IVF again, it would be back in London (where I’m from).

I was very naive when started all this, but for ‘round two’ I made sure I did my homework and due diligence. I made a shortlist of the top clinics in London, attended 6 open evenings and had 4 initial consultations before deciding on moving forward with Dr Moses.

The shift in mindset when meeting Dr Moses was gamechanging, the question wasn’t IF I was gonna be a mama, it was ‘how many babies did I want?’ He batted off all of my concerns with references to research …and healthy dose of positivity.

He took a whole month just to scan and learn how MY cycle and MY body works naturally, without any intervention at all. And then when we started treatment we took the gentle-gentle approach, just encouraging what my body already wanted to do, rather than a complete medicated take over. We did Mini IVF/IVF lite which entails mild low-dose stimulation and is suitable for women like me with DOR.

We played the long game in that we decided to batch collect embryos over a number of rounds so that we would have options in the future. This next round in London was night and day better than the first round in LA.

It wasn’t all plain sailing; we had to abandon two cycles half way through, but I respected his boldness to do that, rather than trundle on in misguided hope and wasted additional expense, hope and the inevitable heartache. Those times weren’t easy … but I had to trust the process.

As Dr Moses career excelled, we followed him to his new clinics such is the trust we have in him. I would describe myself as a somewhat anxious patient and he was caring and patient and I felt truly cared for.

“We have been fortunate to cross paths with Dr Moses twice. We first reached out to Dr Moses having experienced three early miscarriages. We had undergone tests at one of the country’s leading hospitals with one of the most renowned fertility specialists but the tests all came back fine and the advice was not satisfactory for us. It was then we decided to seek help elsewhere and came to know Dr Moses. The initial consultation with Dr Moses was just what we were looking for. He was very understanding and sought to provide us with a clear and informative explanation of what the potential problem could be and what options we could consider. We decided to proceed down the IVF route but coincidentally fell pregnant naturally soon after. Dr Moses continued his support and was on hand to monitor us closely through the early stages of our pregnancy. Less than two years later we fell pregnant again naturally. Without hesitation we reached out to Dr Moses who, despite not being at the same clinic where we initially saw him, willingly offered to help us by arranging the same level of support we experienced the first time. He was always on hand for questions or anything that we needed. Dr Moses is a kind and knowledgeable physician who connects so well with his patients. He is empathetic and understanding and endeavours to help couples achieve their dreams of being parents. I would wholly recommend Dr Moses to anyone looking for help with fertility.”

Everyone’s journey to having a baby is different and after a fairly straightforward natural conception of our first born we thought it would easy to fall pregnant again for the second time. After a year of trying I fell pregnant but unfortunately that pregnancy turn out to be an ectopic pregnancy. After a few months we started trying again and a chemical miscarriage followed. After speaking a fertility doctor we ran some more tests which confirmed I had low AMH for my age but a good number of follicles. We tried various methods to try and assist us including taking various drugs cycles of drugs including chlomid, letrizole, ovulation triggers and pessaries. After a few more months of little progress and my 35th birthday approaching the fertility doctor suggested we consider IVF which was a route we were very hesitant to approach due to the extensive toll both physically and financially. However, our desire to expand our little family and provide our son with a sibling outweighed the negatives and we started our next journey into the world of IVF.

We researched a few top London clinics with the mindset that if we were going to do this I only wanted to do it once and with the best medical care available. The clinic we chose were good but opting to be the patient of the medical director meant that his availability was limited and when I had concerns he was not easily accessible and each call also came with a price. The first round of IVF they used a fairly standard IVF protocol and I produced a good number of eggs/mature follicles but only two embryos resulted. They suggested a second round of IVF ‘where they threw the book’ at me and put me on a very high stimulation protocol to try and increase the number of embryos. Again, while I produced a good number of eggs, eventually this only resulted in three embryos. Of the combined 5 embryos only 1 made it to blastocyst which could be biopsied for PGS testing. We decided to go for PGS testing in order to help manage my expectations and manage the heartbreak of further miscarriage. Alas, the results of this embryo were that it was chromosomally abnormal. At my post-results consultation the consultant suggested that there was one ‘final’ option they could try which would be a low stimulation protocol/mild IVF as it appeared that my body did not react well to lots of high stimulation drugs.

We asked for some time to think about things before deciding what to do next. It was during this period that I was recommended Dr Moses from another of his patients who had a similar experience at the same clinic and gave me an introduction and it was a totally refreshing experience from the outset. From what I understood Dr Moses specialised in patients with low AMH and preferred to use a low stimulation protocol/mild IVF approach in order to create better quality embryos (rather than quantity) so we thought it was worth having a consultation with him.

Dr Moses is also an incredibly busy and successful fertility doctor in his own right but from the very beginning we felt at ease with him and nothing was too much trouble. He listened to our secondary infertility journey and asked questions which led him to understand what might be causing the issues we were facing. We decided that we would like to work with a doctor who really understood us and our concerns and it was the best decision we have ever made. We followed his advice and within one low-stimulation protocol/mild IVF which is a shorter time than average and the drugs were much easier to administer we had a good quality chromosomally normal PGS tested embryo. Dr Moses was very thorough in explaining why the drugs that he uses and the protocol he suggests provide very good results. We discussed the next steps, always a very consultative approach and as I was approaching my 36 year birthday we decided to do one more round of mild IVF noting what Dr Moses learnt from the first round. During this round we collected 4 more embryos for testing, 2 of which came back PGS normal and we transferred the embryo from my first round with Dr Moses. I am delighted to say that I am now 30 weeks pregnant. Dr Moses really focuses on quality not quantity and is available at short notice for any questions or concerns. We really felt he cared about each and every patient as opposed to our previous experience where I felt as though I was in a fertility factory and no questions were answered until we had paid the next invoice. While I appreciate that everyone’s experience and circumstances are very different I would not think twice before working with Dr Moses again. I only wish I met him at the beginning.

IVF High Success. Changing lives

- Karen and Brendan

Our IVF journey has been rollercoaster! After an IVF treatment resulting in a miscarriage, we first met Doctor Moses in January 2020. He told me “don’t worry you will have a baby” and 11 months later we were blessed with a healthy baby.

We wanted to extend our family and had to go through IVF again. As Dr Moses had left the country at this point we had access to “whoever” gynaecologist was available at the clinic. This process was very disheartening as we never saw the same person twice. We were just number to this clinic! After two failed IVF rounds we were desperate to find out why it “never worked”.

I knew in my heart I had to reconnect with Doctor Moses as he made us feel so reassured. Luckily we did and I trusted and knew everything he advised on why it failed was right! He explained our chances and the options available to us at this stage in our life (over 40). Every blood test/scan I had when I started my IVF treatment, he advised us!

We are now expecting our second child thanks to his expertise and my only regret was that I should have trusted my instincts when it “didn’t feel right” and sort his guidance.
